Melody's musical career was born from her adventures in musical street performing, also known as “busking”. Born into an exceptionally musical family, she has been steeped in sound all her life, and was already singing even before she learned to speak. As the niece of renowned folk and new-age musician Faerie Elaine Silver and cousin of celebrated opera vocalist Doris Doree, she continues to carry forward her family's legacy with her own unique voice and artistry.

Driven by a desire to inspire righteousness through her artistry, Melody continually seeks opportunities to grow her musical talents through both solo endeavors and collaborative projects. She also manages a public Spotify playlist in which she explores and curates music from a diverse range of artist discographies in order to share her favorite musical discoveries with the world.

An exceptionally skilled independent visual artist, Melody has been creating unique and inspiring original artwork for her online art gallery since 2012. Through independent studies of contemporary art forms---such as digital drawing, video games, animation, comic books, and photography---she has cultivated her own signature creative style. She also creates and sells custom pinback buttons and printed clothing through her online studio, Music-Is-Silver Arts.

In her artwork, Melody utilizes a wide variety of media, including traditional art tools, photography, sculpture/assemblage, textiles, digital/graphic art tools, hobbyist crafts, and even literature. Melody maintains that “a little bit of everything” makes for a dynamic and expressive gallery that speaks to a wider audience, and her hope is to inspire others to discover their own personal styles through such broad exploration.

In 2014, Melody co-founded Kitty Krew, an e-network of animal care volunteers, animal rights activists, and pet enthusiasts that continues to serve northern New Jersey communities. In 2019, she began working with BASS Animal Rescue in Bloomingdale, New Jersey, where she assisted the kennel staff in caring for the cats and kittens that called the kennel their temporary home, before they were adopted by their new owners. A proud “cat mom” herself, Melody is deeply humbled by her continued opportunities to aid in touching the lives of her community through animal care.
