Moving
I don’t have moving supplies or a vehicle, and I’m not the person for heavy lifting (about 40 lb. max), but if you need help loading & unloading a car or moving van, carrying things up & down stairs, and unpacking, I’ve got you covered. I’ve moved about five times around Boston+ and have helped friends & neighbors too. I’m reliable, careful, friendly, and prioritize safety. Need an extra set of hands/eyes to help with errands? Whether it’s things like picking up grocery orders, grabbing your mail, sending packages at the post office, checking on expiration dates in the pantry, or more, I’m here to help! I’m honest, patient, and kind, as well as detail-oriented and careful with your things. I’m also tidy, clean, and respectful of your space. (By the way, there's no shame in hiring help - we all could use it sometimes!) Feel free to reach out - let’s get things done!
Organization
Need help getting organized? I naturally tend to keep my own space super neat, so I'm happy to assist with things like tidying (like removing trash or making things sit nicely on a desk), light decluttering (helping you decide what’s most meaningful to keep/donate), sorting physical/digital files, organizing & labeling drawers/supplies, & other such tasks. I follow directions carefully & have a patient, nonjudgmental presence. I’m happy to be a second set of eyes/hands helping you get organized!
Data Entry
Need help with simple data entry? While I’m not the fastest or most tech-savvy choice, I’m careful, methodical, & relatively inexpensive. Provided I'm given clear directions, I can handle simple, repetitive tasks like typing, copy/pasting, organizing spreadsheets, & sorting digital files. Though I may not know / be able to remember the Excel/Sheets formulas, with your guidance, you can trust that I’ll get the info into the sheet/database one way or another. If you just need it done, I’m the one!
Personal Assistant
If you need an extra set of hands for simple tasks, I’m here to help. I can assist with things like organizing documents or files, light computer work, or fetching coffee and supplies. I’m honest, patient, and kind, with a calm and detail-oriented approach. Though I don’t make phone calls, I’m happy to help with online bookings. I'm also a great choice for other casual support, like body doubling and gaming together. Let me know how I can help lighten the load!
Editing/Grading/Homework
Need help with basic foreign language/ESL homework, proofreading written/typed work, or grading tests/papers? Be you a student or instructor, I can assist! I'm great with editing & enhancing written work/assignments, suggesting corrections, & grading multiple choice exams. I also have some experience assisting native speakers of Spanish & Japanese with their English. I'm patient, kind, and non-judgmental, and would love to expand my experience by helping out. Line Standing
Need someone to hold your spot in line? I’m patient, trustworthy, responsive, and happy to be your stand-in while you take care of other things or just relax. Whether it’s a store opening, ticket release, registration queue, or something else, I've got you! BTW, don’t feel weird about it - I’m a nerd and go to the con, so I've waited in tons of lines before, and I’ve got plenty to keep me busy on my phone, from language-learning apps to audiobooks to music to digital novels and more. Let's hurry up and wait!
Transcription/Telescribing
Need help turning sound into typed text? I offer careful, accurate transcription of various media as well as simple telescribing for meetings, lectures & appointments. Though I'm not a professional typist by any means, I’m detail-oriented, patient, and happy to help. Whether it’s an interview, podcast, song lyrics, or something else that needs typing up, I’ve got you covered. Let’s get those words onto the computer!
Pet-Sitting
Have a simple petsitting/petwalking job you need done for cheap? Hanging out with your pet, setting out food & water, scooping litter, or going for walkies - that sort of thing shouldn't break the bank. Think of me like the reliable next-door neighbor - except with real kennel experience! I'm a former cat mom, rescue worker, & volunteer who knows how to care for animals (with love, patience & respect), as well as how important your pet's wellbeing is to you.
